Participation format

Choose the option that best describes what a student would realistically need in order to participate. This field helps students identify projects that fit their location, schedule, and access constraints.

Fully remote / asynchronous
Select this if students can participate without coming to a physical site. Project work may be completed remotely and does not require scheduled in-person participation.
Mostly remote, occasional in-person
Select this if most project work can be completed remotely, but students may occasionally need to attend in-person meetings, onboarding, training, clinic/lab activities, or project-specific events.
Hybrid
Select this if students should expect a regular combination of remote work and in-person participation.
In-person required
Select this if students need to be physically present on a regular basis to participate meaningfully in the project.
Variable by role/project stage
Select this if the participation format depends on the student's role, current project needs, data access requirements, clinic or lab schedule, or stage of the project. Students will be prompted to contact you for more details.

Recruiting status

Choose the status that best reflects whether students should currently reach out. Mark a listing Closed when you are no longer accepting new students.

Open
The project is actively accepting interested students.
Limited / urgent

The project has limited openings, a near-term deadline, or a specific short-term need. Students may still inquire, but availability may change quickly.

When selected, an optional date selector will be provided, in case you want to indicate a specific date to apply/make contact by. Students will see this in the listing card as a deadline.

Closed
The project is not currently accepting new students. It may remain visible for transparency or future reference.

Student inquiry contact name

Optional.

When to use this
Use if student inquiries should go to an email address belonging to someone other than the faculty lead, such as a coordinator, lab manager, fellow, resident, or administrative assistant.
When to leave blank
If the contact email is the same as the primary investigator/faculty lead, leave this field blank.
